Jason Constantine is now a proud member of the Krank Amps Family

Jason Constantine is proud to announce a new partnership with Krank Amplification. Jason is now playing the Krank Nineteen80 80 Watt head. Jason initially found out about this amp at NAMM 2012 and was pretty convinced he wanted one but did some research about the company and how they do business. “I am the type to not just endorse anything” says Jason. “Companies throw gear at me all the time to try out, use, and play but I only keep a fraction of it cause most of it is not usable for me. The deal with Krank was started by a mutual friend of myself and Chris Catero from Krank Amps. Chris is a great guy and really sat with me to talk over every aspect of the amps and really find the one that would suit what I needed. I have had a Krankenstein for a while and its a great amp but it has its drawbacks, there is nothing wrong with the amp and it sounds amazing but I really feel the Nineteen80 is a better fit for my playing style.”

Jason also says:
“As for Jet City Amplification I am not leaving them as neither deal is exclusive. The Jet City 20 is a great amp that I will be taking to me with the shows with Hot Rod Deville. Its definitely more suited for lower gain applications and I love how fat the clean channel is. I want to thank Doug White for everythig he has done for me, Jet City has been a great company to work with, and I look forward to working with them more in the future.”

Jason Constantine to join Hot Rod Deville for upcoming shows!

Jason Constantine will be joining Hot Rod Deville on stage for a selection of shows this year. Jason was contacted by Joey Fulco of Hot Rod Deville cause their current Lead Guitar player is unable to play the upcoming shows. Jason graciously accepted the challenge that Joey has put in front of him. “It’s great to be able to go out and have fun with your friends. It’s very different going out and playing old R&B / swing / jazz and Rockabilly. I have really never played this style of music before so it is definitely a challenge. I have to really buckle down and learn this stuff, especilly the style of lead playing. It’s going to be a challenge but it will also be a load of fun! Joey and his family are great people and I am honored they have asked me to come and be a part of these shows!”

This just in.. Announcing the newest Jam Night in Las Vegas! Hosted by Jason Constantine, Danny Robert, and Merry Adin starting in February!

Club Fortune Casino brings Jason and his friends, Thursday nights 7pm to 10pm in the Fortune Lounge at Club Fortune Casino! Jason and his friends will be playing a variety of Blues, Rock, Country and Dance tunes from the 50s through today! Jason was chosen by the entertainment director Kathleen Wolfe for his diversity and ability to connect with the audience. Kathleen says “We’re very excited to have these 3 multi talented musicians join us Thursday nights for jam night in February! They’re amped up musicianship and pure professionalism will make any amateur feel like a true Rock star!”

The talent in this band Jason has put together is some of the be best in Las Vegas. Danny Robert is a long time member of the L.A. Rock Scene, and the Television and Film Industry. He has worked with Bluff Control, and more recently became the drummer for The John Zito Band. Merry Adin has been a long time member of the Las Vegas music scene, playing in a variety of shows up and down the Las Vegas Strip. Her cover band Brazen won the 2012 Vegas Rocks Magazine award for Best Local Live Entertainment. “I will be bringing my original brand of humor to the show as well says Jason, “this isn’t just about rock music and us showing off. It’s about having a great time and having fun with our fans and friends. Now is your chance to be a rock star right inside the casino. Having the ability to jam with top notch musicians may even give someone the drive to get out there and play music! This is going to be a blast!”

Jason and his friends will be in the Club Fortune Casino Lounge every Thursday Night from 7pm to 10pm. Bring an instrument and join in on the fun!

Labor Day Weekend in Las Vegas is full of Nightclubs and Day Clubs with the hottest DJ’s in the world spinning their best, but a few of Las Vegas’ local Rock Bands along with some All-Star Musicians decided to put on a free show for charity. With the help of Choices Pub & Showroom in the northwest part of the valley, ‘Band Up For StandUp’ brought in some money for a local charity and let a handful of Musicians perform for free all Labor Day long.

Imagine is a non-profit organization created to help fund the music departments of Clark County Schools in Las Vegas.

Ronnel Socrates Taclibon Dude, you being a hardass helped me out a lot. Calling me out on my bullshit(not practcing properly, being stoned before lessons/recording/live performance, losing my calm onstage when shit happens etc.). More than honing my skills, you turned me(and the band) into a more mature musician, onstage and off. Can’t thank you enough!

Jason Constantine Nominated for 3 VRMA’s in 2012!

Just announced last week were the nominees for the 2012 Vegas Rocks Magazine Awards. All 3 of Jason’s bands Outta The Black Mr. Tinkertrain and Bluff Control are nominated in 2012 for their achievements in 2011. This is Outta The Blacks second nomination with this being the first for Bluff Control and Mr. Tinkertrain.

Says Jason: “It’s an honor to be recognized locally for all the hard work you put in. We (Outta The Black) were shocked at our nomination last year considering how new the band was to the scene. In 2011 we worked very hard to make a name for the band and had the honor of opening shows for quite a few nationals. I am very happy that Bluff Control and Mr. Tinkertrain are nominated as well, we worked our tails off in 2011, and hopefully we come out winners all around.”

In addition two of the bands Jason recorded in his studio this year were nominated as well.

Sicocis, and Vile Child.

This could technically make Jason a five time winner this year.

This years Vegas Rocks Magazine Awards will be held on Sunday August 26th 2012 at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. This year David Coverdale and Sammy Hagar will be honored and given special awards. Also in attendance will be Geoff Tate formerly of Queesryce, and Michael Schenker formerly of the Scorpions and currently with MSG. The 2012 event is once again hosted by Vegas Rocks Editor and Founder Sally Steel. Tickets are available through TicketMaster for $26.00
